Our Golf Course Wash Racks

ESD Waste2Water, Inc. manufactures various Wash Water Treatment and Chemical Mix/Load Equipment to meet the Golf Industry’s Best Management Practices. Our Biological Wash Water Treatment System treats waste from washing off fairway mowers, green mowers, utility equipment, etc.

Here’s how it works:

The High-Flow adjustable nozzles allow the operators to clean the debris by getting into the tough-to-reach undercarriage and mower decks. The water and debris flow into an in-ground sump pit with a pump that lifts the water & foliage through a grass-clipping separator system.

Heavy debris like leaves and grass clippings filters out and slides into the separator for later disposal. Finer solids remain in the wash water, which travels through an Incline Plate Clarifier. The solids settle there, and the wash water flows into our biological water treatment system, neutralizing contaminants. After this process, the water is now ready for recycling.

Concrete Wash Pad at a Turf Care Environmental Center

Golf course superintendents worked with ESD to develop the turf-care facility “Environmental Center.” Pictured is an Environmental Center at an 18-hole golf course in the Midwest United States. It includes a closed-loop wash rack, a contained chemical mix/load/storage area with chemical recovery and a contained fuel area. This Environmental Center was designed and installed by ESD, and construction was performed by local contractors.

Golf Course Chemical Mix/Load/Storage Area

Pictured is a chemical mix, load, storage and recovery area designed and installed by ESD Waste2Water for Golf Courses. The chemical building includes chemical placards, over 400 gallons of chemical spill containment and non-porous metal shelving. The chemical mixing area consists of 380 gallons of chemical spill containment space and can recover and reuse spilled chemicals. The area also includes an emergency eye wash/shower.

Portable Wash Rack for Golf Carts and Mowers

The ESD portable wash system is the perfect solution in cases where a temporary wash rack is needed or where permitting is difficult. Pictured is a 2-hose wash water recycle system integrated with a 16′ x 24′ portable wash pad at a turf-care facility. They are using our wash rack as a golf cart washing station.
